There is a lot of difference between perseverance and routine. Perseverance means achieving short goals sequentially over a long period of time. The long period directs to a greater purpose or mission that breaks down into smaller goals that keep a person excited and this is the impetus that drives every successful person.<\/p>\n

In today\u2019s age where the Internet, and the technologies that have thrived because of the advent of the Internet, have engulfed our lives,<\/p>\n
How can technology be used to help individuals find answers?<\/em><\/strong><\/h2>\n
Technology has changed the face of many sectors by improving businesses, livelihood, and connecting people. As there are two sides to a coin, there are many downsides to this technology.<\/p>\n
The gaming and entertainment industry is now worth over $145 billion US dollars globally and has kept a large section of the people distracted.<\/p>\n
Social media does connect people across the globe but they thrive on the attention span of individuals.<\/p>\n
Technology is using algorithms extensively to recommend content to people that keeps them hooked to their platform, thus generating income through advertisements. They subconsciously try to lure people to their platforms by constantly bombarding them with notifications, recommendations and thereby polarizing their views.<\/p>\n
How can one then use the same technology to our advantage and find purpose in life?<\/em><\/strong><\/h2>\n
While the power of technology is immense, it depends on how you are using the power.<\/p>\n
1. Focus on finding what you want\/ who you are.<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0The most successful people in history had a powerful tool \u2014 \u2018time\u2019 and they used much of this time observing and understanding\/perceiving the world. They networked with people over events, gatherings, and shared views and knowledge. This helped them to have their own opinion and beliefs and having much time to self-introspect, they could even understand what they want!<\/p>\n
2.\u00a0Amplify<\/em>\u00a0your network, your thoughts, your reach.\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>The drawback people from the olden days had was \u2018speed\u2019. To share what they did -their \u2018Inventions\u2019 would take months to reach around the globe to somebody who is working on a similar or far better version of the \u2018Invention\u2019. It took several months for them to connect with each other. The time lost could have been used in a better way!<\/p>\n
Today with the help of the internet you can reach out to any scientist or industrialist or mentor\/role model in an instant through Twitter or LinkedIn.<\/p>\n
Your views can easily flow through the Internet through Reddit or Blogger and you can get refined versions of those views. Your work can be viewed by the world and the ones who wish to collaborate can do so remotely too!<\/p>\n
The boundaries for thoughts, knowledge to flow have vanished today. The ones with the purpose\/clarity can spread it across the globe. What\u2019s missing, though, is that very purpose\/clarity in individuals today.<\/p>\n
Technology does amplify who you are\/your identity and what you want to do\/your mission only if you know the answers to them.<\/p>\n
Technology should be only a tool, a medium, and not a part of your life; letting technology consume our time is equivalent to living someone else\u2019s life.<\/em><\/strong><\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/article>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
